As I was listening to this link, I felt a sense of calm because of the smooth voice. And I felt a sense of peace because Billie Holiday was singing about one of my favorite seasons, Autumn, in one of my favorite places in the world, New York, during a period before I was born, 1952.
I felt nostalgic, hopeful, and closer to New York after listening to this song. It was amazing that I could relate to someone that was singing a song way before I was even born.
