This is so tragic because Dr. Albert C. Barnes left certain stipulations regarding how he wanted his precious artwork to be handled after his death. After the manipulation caused by the human element, his wishes were slowly ignored and his vision for his legacy was destroyed.
I learned that nothing is sacred after death. After the politician's, the greed, and the human sentiment take their cut, a "Documented Will" can become just another piece of paper.
